Hi-tech
Christian
Leadership

The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each
will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow
workers; you are God's field, God's building.
     1 Corinthians 3:8-9

The Hi-tech Christian
Leadership webpage.

WHO ARE WE?  We are Christians who work in Hi-tech firms, such as Intel, HP (merged with Compaq), & TI.  We are also active in our company diversity groups (sometimes called affinity clubs, etc.).  We are reaching outside of our company to meet and encourage those fellow believers in our industry.

WHAT DO WE DO?  We meet approximately every other month in a phone conference.  The purpose is to build a personal network across the companies in our industry.  Members are currently engaged in Christian activities in their companies, or are seeking guidance in how to start and lead Christian fellowship at work.  Regent University Business Prof. Mike Zigarelli has also volunteered to help guide us.

WHY DON'T ENGINEERS JUST QUIT THEIR JOBS AND GO INTO FULL-TIME MINISTRY?  Here and here are two interesting perspectives.  Here's an interesting take from a Christian at Lucent Technologies.

Disclaimer: We are a new organization.  Our first meeting took place in December 2003.  We are not sponsored by any corporation.  We are a personal network of friends.  If you currently lead, or plan to lead, a Christian fellowship at a hi-tech company, please contact us to join us.
